Sand Collar

This is a Sand Collar. Sand collars are egg cases for moon snail eggs. Moon snails are carnivorous. To eat they drill a hole with their "Tooth" then they rip flesh out of the shell. *Fun Fact , once moon snails die, Hermit Crabs take over the shell.
